9 cm accuracy, visible facades, a revealed territory: Vectuel has flown over the Île-de-France region with an oblique imagery camera Vexcel Imaging, as part of its 2025 aerial acquisition campaign.
Unlike nadir photos used to produce orthophotos or PCRS, oblique photos are taken at a 45-degree angle, which allows for detailed capture of facades. At 9 cm resolution, windows, volumes, and textures become distinct: the city reveals itself as faithful, legible, and actionable — perfect for building ultra-realistic digital twins and powering urban development or transformation projects.
This proprietary data is one of the pillars of Vectuel's expertise, and we have already reconstructed 450,000 buildings using these photos to deliver to our various client territories.
