Vectuel supports the City of Nevers in public consultation around its major urban projects, thanks to a 3D model of the entire city. Produced in 2025, it allows elected officials, municipal services, and residents to visualize the transformations of Nevers before they are built.
Two major projects are integrated into it. The first is the redevelopment of Rue François-Mitterrand and the city center streets: a pedestrian zone, greening, a completely redesigned Place Guy-Coquille, and Place Mancini returned to pedestrians. The second is the transformation of the Banlay district, carried out within the framework of the NPNRU with the support of the ANRU.
Both projects are open to the public in the form of interactive 3D tours, accessible from the City's website. Everyone can explore the future streets and squares at their own pace, before the work begins.
The model also serves as support for public meetings. On October 30, 2026, during the meeting on phases 3 and 4 of Banlay (2027-2028 developments), residents discovered the future village square using a virtual reality headset, at eye level.
By bringing together the existing city and its projects within the same representation, 3D provides a common language for elected officials, project managers, and residents: people no longer just comment on a plan, they react to a place. Vectuel supports the City of Nevers in the urban renewal of the Banlay district, carried out within the framework of the NPNRU with the support of the ANRU. A virtual reality experience allows residents to explore their future neighborhood at eye level, before the first shovel hits the ground.
